About Us

Brotherhood Institute HQ (BIHQ) was created by a male survivor of domestic violence who believes every man deserves the chance to rebuild—no matter how broken the past may feel. Safety and recovery shouldn’t hide behind paywalls. When you need help, the last thing you should worry about is being able to afford it.

All the information and tools you find in this website are completely FREE to use, and will remain FREE for everyone!

This project was born not from theory, but from my personal experience. I know what it means to survive emotional, psychological, and sometimes even physically abused.

The first thing I learned when the abuse started happening was the lack of understanding, support and to make maters worse, a lack of respect for male victims of domestic violence and abuse. Two decades later male victims still struggle with finding resources available for men. We’re here to change that.

While I am extremely happy awareness for female victims has grown, male survivors remain largely overlooked.

Brotherhood Institute is a starting point — a place to learn, reflect, and reclaim your life. We don’t offer therapy or professional legal services. What we offer is something just as essential: real-world advice, hard-earned insight, emotional support, and a path toward independence.

We are not many. We are one. But through Brotherhood, we stand stronger together.
