The Abuse Log Tool

Document the Truth, In Detail

What It Does
It creates a secure timeline of abuse incidents, storing your notes in a way that even our team can’t read. You can choose to print a copy for personal reference or, depending on your local laws, use it as evidence.

Why It Exists
When abuse happens, the details matter — dates, times, exact words, and what you felt in that moment. The Abuse Log is a private, encrypted journal built to help you document abuse clearly and securely. Unlike the Abuse Tracker, this is for full, detailed accounts that you can look back on later or even print if needed.

Real-World Uses

  • Evidence Record: Give a clear account to a lawyer or court if needed.
  • Memory Backup: Details fade — the log keeps them intact.
  • Therapy Aid: Share with a counselor to help them understand your situation faster.

How to Use It – Step by Step

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Go to the Abuse Log from your dashboard.
  3. Add a new entry — include as much detail as you can remember.
  4. Mark as ‘Safe to Print’ if you plan to make a hard copy later.
  5. Use the Abuse Log History to review your entries over time.
  6. Print if you need to share it with a trusted professional.

Safety Tips

  • Store printed logs in a secure, private location.
  • Avoid keeping printed copies in places an abuser can access.
